Appearance #
Picks the accent color for the entire workspace UI — buttons, links, focus rings, the colored dot in the SpecGraph wordmark. The choice is saved in the local browser per user, so two people in the same workspace can prefer different accents without conflict.
Accent applies to both light and dark themes. The base palette stays neutral; only the accent shifts.
Organization #

Renaming a workspace doesn't change its slug or break links. The slug is permanent.
Departments #
Departments are the tags applied to team members and used across the team table, project graph, audit log, and amendment routing. A new workspace ships with the default seven (business, product, design, engineering, qa, security, devops) plus system for fully automated phases.
Each row has:
- A short slug — used internally; auto-generated from the label
- A label — what the user sees
- A color — used for badges and graph nodes
You can add departments freely. Removing one is allowed only if no member currently holds it. The default seven cannot be deleted (they're referenced by phase ownership), but their labels and colors can be edited.
Only owners and admins can change departments. Editors and viewers see the table but can't modify it.
What's not here #
Things that look like they might live in Settings but actually live elsewhere:
- AI model overrides → workspace owners can pin a tier from a future Settings → AI tab; for now overrides are env-vars only. See AI & models.
- Team management → its own top-nav page. See Team & invites.
- Project-specific settings → the per-project settings panel inside any project.
- Personal preferences → the Profile page.
